A reminder here that the Charleston digital conference in academic programming opens today (November 17). If you’ve missed today’s kickoff or will miss more sessions, your registration will give you access to the material.

The keynote address has been offered by Frances Pinter, director of academic relations for Central European University Press and the founder of Knowledge Unlatched.

Conference Highlights:

    Leading During Times of Crisis: a plenary panel moderated by Jim O’Donnell, university librarian, Arizona State University; featured participants include Xan Arch, dean of the University Library, Portland State University; Del Hornbuckle, executive director, University Libraries, Howard University; and Judith Russell, dean of University Libraries, University of Florida (retired).

  • Long Arm of the Law: a  panel moderated by Ann Okerson, Director, Offline Internet Consortium; featured participants include Paul Rosensweig, Professorial Lecturer in Law, George Washington University, and Nancy Weiss, Senior Policy Fellow, American University Washington College of Law.

Registration Includes

  • Full access to the in-person conference in Charleston, South Carolina, November 3-7 and the digital conference November 17-21.

  • All sessions, vendor showcase, networking opportunities, and special events such as the welcome reception and the conference reception at the South Carolina Aquarium.

  • Group discounts (15 precent off for four or more people from the same organization), scholarships, and volunteer opportunities are available (including special opportunities for MLIS students).
